Albert Becker
Albert Becker, son of Storm A. L. Becker
and Elisabeth Clute
, was born on November 12, 1796 in Half Moon, Saratoga County,
New York and died about September 29, 1883 in Lafayette, Onandaga County, New York.
"James Becker, of La Fayette, was born in Saratoga,
town of Half Moon, April 10, 1818, a son of Albert and Catharine (Goeway)
Becker, the former born in 1797, in Half Moon, and the latter in Saratoga.
They came to La Fayette in 1827 where he settled on a farm. After the
death of his wife he came to the village, and finally to Syracuse, and
engaged in the jewelry business with his son, Daniel, but retired in 1854.
He took a prominent part in politics, serving as justice of the peace and
town clerk."
